The rooms smell like they’ve definitely been smoked in in the past. But the beds were comfortable and the shower had really good pressure. Plenty of room and right next to a Dunkin’/ gas station and a checkers.
Definitely not the nicest hotel, you get what you pay for. Staff is really nice though, the overnight front desk guy when I went in May 2025 was the best dude.
If you dig cultural experiences, look no further. Right off the 50 with the aroma of 420 and across the street from the US National Arboretum. For safety concerns it's right next to DCs finest all night long and it's gated by night! Amenities galore, thin walls, swamp coolers, free weak WiFi and varmits (pair of crickets in heat) in my room - live NatGeo moment! You get what you pay for (just sayin') ????????
